Learn about the changes that happened in San Bernardino County between the 2016 - 2019 Healthy Stores for a Healthy Community surveys.

  • In December 2019, Adelanto adopted a tobacco retail license policy with a ban on the sale of menthol and flavored tobacco products. The ban goes into effect on June 30, 2020.
  • In November 2019, Colton adopted a tobacco retail license ordinance zoning and prohibits redemption of tobacco coupons.

The products that are promoted and sold in our communities have an impact on health. The Survey is a statewide collaboration between tobacco and alcohol use prevention, sexually transmitted disease prevention, and nutrition partners to examine what's in our community stores and how that impacts public health.
